I'm making a game called Baby-Proof, and I'm having a problem that I don't understand why it is not working. There is a broadcast message called “game-start”, and on the 2nd level (the kitchen), the baby-boy and baby-girl sprites have a when I recieve block with that broadcast message, and on the backdrop, it broadcasts the message. It's supposed to be recieving, but it isn't. What do I do? The only way I can get it to work is by clicking on it.

It's difficult to follow your script because you have two messages that say “start” and “game start”. Change one or both to be more descriptive. That might also help you see what is wrong.
