I'm making my own Raspberry Pi setup for ~$100

So, I've been looking at the PI for a while, and have just decided to buy one after selling an RC car of mine.

Parts List:

Optional Parts:

I will be building the case out of stuff from around the house, so I didn't add a case to the expense list.
They aren't that expensive though, usually only ~$10-$15.

So, any other people with raspberry pi's have advise for me?

; Oh this? This is just my semicolon. I got it a long time ago, it's quite innocuous. Don't worry about it.

The tiny keyboard has a tiny trackpad.

I plan to use it for whatever I need it for. I program in python, so I figure I can do a lot. I also want it because who the heck wouldn't want a mini-me computer complete with tiny keyboard and screen?

I was also thinking of using it for streaming media to the tv in my room.

I think you'd need a converter for hdmi to AV video.

Also that acreen and keyboard looks really small

What ideas do you have for the case? How will you power the fan?

I have the converter. Yea, I know they are small. the both of them are more of a prop than anything. I have a large tv and full sized keyboard for when I'm actually doing the important stuff. I think I'm going to make a wooden case, and then make a sleeve for it that looks like a pack of cards
