How To Train Your Dragon

I don't really understand the comparisons. I myself haven't read the books, but I really enjoyed the movies. But why compare the two? It just makes people angry when you reach your conclusion (“so imo, … is better”).

“Yipee, I did it!” the man said with glee,
“I've solved that darned riddle, I've solved it, you see!”
The sphinx simply smiled and shook her strange head,
“I'm afraid you're wrong, and therefore you're dead.”

I read all the books in about 1 day each, they are amazing and exciting! I've watched all the films and they are actually nothing at all about the story.

I loved it once. Unfortunately, the writing style is a bit simplistic to my tastes now, but I remember it being highly humorous and a very rich viking world. I enjoyed the “bestiary” entries on the dragons.
They are perfect in every way except one, they are too short!

I've read the books after the movie came out just to realize that the movie might as well not be an adaption of the book considering how much they changed.
The books were kinda eh…
“Kinda eh..”? They were great, a load better than that awful “adaption”! The movie wasn't true to the book, it was generally bad and annoying, and Fishlegs is FAT! What the heck!??!?!?
Aw, COME on!! It's wasn't THAT bad! I don't mean to be mean, and I respect your opinion and all, but still, it was really GREAT, even if it was a little different than the book.
Yeah and HTTYD is my FAVE MOVIE!!! the books were…….

Honestly, I love little Toothless. It seems like he always wants to get Hiccup in trouble at the wrong time

While the animation in the movies was amazing, I found the plot less exciting simply because I read the books first.

“You procrastinate making videos, cause being judged is scary, you're so close to being forgotten, the hate's imaginary~”
“The internet is here, the internet is great, when you've got lots of followers who needs a real mate?”
“It's a good thing to be strange, normalness leads to sadness.”
“If you're insulting people on the internet, you must be ugly on the inside.”

I just realized I should probably read the books… eh, it can wait.
