Hi,

I was trying to experiment with scratch 2.0, when the right click menu's were over ridden by the browser.
What i mean is that when you right click, the browser menu comes up, and the when you left click to make it go away, the scratch menu goes away too…


I hope y'all can fix this or tell me what to do to fix it…

This is a known glitch. You can use shift-click for now.

The same happens for me as well man. It's pretty annoying but it is on the Scratch team's to-do list.

Yep, and I'm one of them.

I just like the option of offline better, mostly because i lose internet often.

Uh oh, we just rewrote a lot of this code, and though it was working.

Can those of you who are seeing the browser menu let us know what your OS / browser version is? And I'm assuming your talking about seeing the browser menu when you right click in the Scratch project editor, right? (Not just on the normal site)? Screenshots would be super helpful!!

Okay, my browser is Firefox and OS is windows 7.
I would be happy to give a screen shot… But i can't get it to work…
The browser's menu will disappear and let me access the scratch menu if i click on the header of the browser… So it may be something that people who use the online version will have to deal with… i am not yet a programmer, so i don't really know, but i think it may be something that the browser does and you guys really can't control…

Thanks for helping us fix it up! When you say “Browser” menu - what are the options it gives you? Adobe Flash also tries to pop up a menu - we're wondering if it's really the Adobe Flash menu you are seeing. (Thought we fixed it already, but maybe not yet!)

But just so you know the “shift-click” feature is working fine.

When I use firefox or internet explorer this glitch.
also occurs. On safari it works fine though.

I am currently running 18.0.1.

I can imagine how hard it must be… It may be simpler to just say to online users that they just need to use shift-click.

I just checked it and low and behold it works now.
