For quite some time, CubeUpload was one of the very few allowed image hosts. Recently, it went down, and now all the images on Scratch are broken.
I tried uploading an image there today and I got this message:

A username and password are being requested by http://cubeupload.com. The site says: “cubeupload”

I hit cancel it was just an error. Then I got this:

Unauthorized

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

Clearly something is wrong with CubeUpload. I don't know what happened, or how to fix it, since I never created an account.

Does anyone know what happened? The server's been down for at least a week, so something is very wrong.
Is there any way to fix it?
Side note: Will Scratch find another image host?

Server problems. They give frequent updates on their twitter about the status of the site.

Also yes, Scratch does have another image host!

Note to anyone without an adblocker: use this which has no malicious ads

Cube upload has been experiencing a ton of server problems recently. And also don't use tiny pic unless you have an adblocker! Tiny pic has malicious ads and uses browser exploits! Use this while cube upload is down (its a version of tiny pic without malware)

I've been using OpenSprites <3 Although I can only give direct links and the images can not be shown. No whitelist yet xD

It's ad free, moderated, kid friendly, better web design, etc.. Oh wait. It's not whitelisted yet, and we wouldn't ask so until we finish some stuff. #OpenSpritesIsNotDead

Yep… now using adblock just for that site. <offtopic> funny, if you use adblock on Youtube it doesn't remove video ads but removes the skip button </offtopic>

Try ScratchPic, an alt to Tinypic.

OK, so apparently it works, but it still asks for a password and I can't get in without one. Any idea why?
