While I was going through the magical world of reddit, I saw something that reminded me of Scratch. So, I decided to see if there was a Scratch subreddit. Indeed there was. http://www.reddit.com/r/scratch/

I think this should be used more often. Imo, reddit is cool, and I think it might be a good place for Scratchers. What do you guys think?

I like reddit myself - but the language and images used on many of the subreddits would clearly not be appropriate for all ages.

Also, please note the following from Reddit's terms of use:

The Website is not intended for users under the age of 13, and Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from users under the age of 13. Such users are expressly prohibited from submitting their personally identifiable information to us, and from using portions of the Website for which registration is required, such as our forums and chat areas; any information submitted by such users will not knowingly be used, posted, or retained by us.

Since many of our Scratchers are under the age of 13, I don't think it's really a good match up.

Yeah, you're right. It'd be nice if there could be somewhere else like Reddit that is suitable for kids. Besides, kids never follow the 13+ rule anywhere. Or anything like dontpopit.com. No self control.
