Has anybody figured out how to get around this?
I've got a problem where I can't upload any costumes or sounds into my projects.
I have tried .png, .jpg, and .tif formats for the pictures and .wav and .mp3 formats for the sounds, and nothing works. I can upload backdrops with no problems–it's just costumes that's the issue.
I have seen other people with this problem, too. I'm new(ish) to Scratch and have only ever used it in 2.0. I have not used the offline editor, either–I work in the online editor with Google Chrome as my browser. Does sound/picture uploading work offline?
Please help.

I also have been seeing these sort of glitches a lot. Usually, changing the format helps and I use only the online editor too, but if it isn't working for you I would try using the offline editor.

It should work. I've personally never experienced any issues. What Operating System are you using?

I'm on a Mac running OS X Lion. (If that's not what you were looking for, tell me.)
