Actually, you just reminded me of something interesting. Since in the Genocide Route, Flowey boasts him meddling with the timeline and doing everything he could possibly do until getting bored. Obviously, Flowey would have spent a LOT of time doing this, maybe a few years or so. This brings up the question, did he mature in those long years? Or was his mental growth stopped when he became a flower?

If yes, then I could forgive him on the count that he was a child at the time (in mind) who hasn't established strong morals like an adult monster or human. If no, I would do the same as Shpore and not forgive him. If those years changed him ,then he would know that killing was wrong already and that no consequences doesn't make it ok.
