Will we always be cursed with lag on cloud variables? Is their any way to synchronize two players?

What kind of lag is it anyway does it only refresh every x ammount of time, or do numbers just come 2 seconds late.

It refreshes every 2 seconds I think, and lag is made worse by poor internet connections.

It only refreshes every 1~2 seconds, which can be bad for projects that need speed. This can also cause some values to conflict with each others during updating, causing cloud variables to revert at times.
