Rider is a game I've thought up for a while. It is a big project and will take multiple people on multiple fronts to make. Members are crucial to this collabs success so please apply! You can find information in the subsections below.

Concept & Storyline
Concept
Rider takes place in a futuristic America in the year 2100. The game consists of a young man 16-17 or so, who has joined the PDU (People's defense union) .Machine weaponry, electricity, and science have all been banned in the year 2050 and the world has been split up into small village. The PDU fights rouge bands of thieves that now roam with a new creature that has mysteriously appeared called an Oolaka. Oolakas look a bit like a unicorn crossed with a mountain goat and a stallion. They each have unique elemental power that can be accessed. Our protagonist quickly gets thrown into a world where he must not only battle rouge bands of Oolaka riding thieves but discover a bigger mystery at play.
Storyline
The game starts with a prologue explaining the ban on electricity and science. The ban came about in the year 2050 through over pollution and massive food shortages. After a massive battle with supporters of science and the people's union the peoples union won and declared the end of electric and science. The world was revolutionized as cities broke up and remote villages formed. The people's union eventually allowed small trace forms of electricity to be used but only by established government buildings. All went well until 10 years later where groups of rouge's started showing up with a mysterious creature, now known to be the Oolaka, and attacked. The people's union ordered a defense union to be created to tame the Oolakas and use them against the rouges and thieves. After the prologue we start gameplay with the character at a small village where he's learning to use his Oolaka. After a series of tutorials he is gradually sent on missions to the woods and other places to investigate. On his second mission he encounters thieves which he must defeat. That night they are attacked by a band of thieves and after defeating them he is then sent to the city. On his way there he encounters a partner and bands of rouges which he must defeat. Upon arriving in the city he begins to notice something unusual and he later finds out that there are thought to be scientists operating in the city. After multiple adventures he finds the scientist's base and learns that the leader of the PDU is corrupt . He then journeys to defeat the leader. After that the scientist Jason leads him into a hidden laboratory in the PDU base and reveals the amulet around his neck is a new energy source. He places it on a machine in the laboratory and a light emerges. PDU soldiers then arrive to take the corrupt leader away. We see images of scientists speaking at press conferences and science and electricity are once again made legal. After the main storyline is completed the player will be able to go to the stadium and battle players around the world.
