proc_declaration block?

A student of mine found a red block named proc_declaration that comes up whenever you create a new block, and using the stamp tool, click on the block shape in the hat block for the block. What is it?

Woah! Very cool!

It would appear that the block inside the definition hat block has to have a name by default, and the Scratch Team chose “proc-declaration”. When you stamp it, it duplicates it without the appearance of the block it's defining.

EDIT: It seems like upon saving the project and reloading, it becomes a red block called “undefined”.

Well that's kind of cool - you found a secret block! But I suspect it is actually a bug. I'll write it up.

proc_declaration block?

Hi. I'm trying out Scratch 2.0 and the blocks palette covers the first three blocks in the different blocks menu. For example, I cannot access the click green flag, when space key pressed and when sprite1 clicked control blocks. Can you advise how I can shift the blocks palette upwards? Thanks.
