Java Programming
Hello! Outside of Scratch, I use other things to make games. I am actually learning Java, with Scratches help! I am using Eclipse to do it, very nice.
Have a good day!

I use IntelliJ. It's a better interface and gives more options in general. But Eclipse is also great!

Eclipse is a good way to get started. Once you become more confident with Java, you should try Android Studio. I've been using it recently to make some apps

Eclipse is a great Java IDE, especially for starting out. I use it when I program in Java(which hasn't been too recent). It is nice to be able to explore all the builtin objects with it.

When I am programming in Java I usually use Intellij. I would only really recommend the ultimate edition to those who plan to make a career out of it though as unless you have a collage email, it is just so expensive.

YESS, a bunch of new java programmers using eclipse IDEs
just curious, but what have you made or are currently making on java. I'm attempting to make a pong game using a java applet. Also if you have any information on how to get keys to do something in java (get the w key to move forward) PPLLEEEAAAASSSEEE tell me, I'm still reasonably new to java so keep that in mind before blowing me away with waffles of random code. Thanks
