Suddenly can't "right click" using my Chromebook

Anyone else suddenly (within the last couple of weeks) have trouble “right clicking” using a Chromebook?

Previously, to right click on a Chromebook, you'd press and hold the Alt key while clicking the primary mouse button. Now, suddenly, doing so no longer has the desired effect in the Scratch editor. For example, I can't delete a sprint from the sprint gallery, as I can't access the right-click menu which contains the "delete command.

Other parts of the Scratch site (outside the editor) continue to perform as before with regard to Alt clicking.

Not sure whether the folks at Scratch recently made a site update that could have caused this change in behavior. Also, I'm wondering if they test their changes on a Chromebook. Given how many students are using them nowadays, that would be wise.

Cheers,

Tried shift left-clicking yet? (or 2 fingers, for the matter with Macs and Chromebooks)
Anyways, it won't be wise checking with chromebooks for reasons (low usage even with schools etc.)
Anyways, can you click the globe for your Chrome OS version and Chrome version (and flash? )

please note: I've essentially left the website to do other stuff full time. please do not message me about anything on my Scratch profile or bother me about Scratch elsewhere, I will probably not respond.

Click the scissors in the top menu, then the sprite you want to delete.

Try pressing ALT+CLICK. If that does not work it may have the answer at chrome.com.
My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 7390.61.0, Chrome 46.0.2490.71, Flash 19.0 (release 0)
