Don't you think that when someone replie's to your post, it should say in the mail “<username> replied to your topic <name>”. This way, you don't have to go down and click “my posts/topics” to see if anyone's replied. Maybe you have multiple posts in one genre of Discussion topics. Now, you have to go searching through all of the posts that everyone else made. With this idea, these hardships, will be demolished.

Hmmm… I don't know exactly. Would it work if someone quotes you in a topic you don't own? Because if that were the case, I could send a hundred messages to you just by spamming [quote=your username], which obviously isn't something you'd want.

Maybe only if you have posted there, and if you do wht you sead it just says “<username> replied to your topic(#) times”

As long as you could toggle it off. My messages would get spammed because of one of my discussion topics over in R&P.

it could also just say "there was new activity in the topic <topicname>. This would prevent multiple mails for the same topic.

New activity would be new posts, editof the first post or opening/closing the topic

I think you should just have the option to follow a thread, like you do with a user or studio.

My signature was a really funny gif of Red wiggling her eyebrows, but I left it for a few months and it got taken down. Pity.

That's what's going to happen.

You can already do that with the RSS feed.

Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.
