The first question before I answer is this…..What is your secret weapon, old friend?I'm also curious as to what it is :p
What do all organizations, the military, non-profits, coastguard aux, etc. have that we (anyone collab on scratch) do not?
There are 3 parts to running a Scratch Collab,
One of which almost no-one uses.
First of all, there is Motivation. You have to give everyone a reason to work at it; the final product.
Second of all, there is Quality
Some people take this one too far and get nothing done, that is for the third one.
Third is Efficiency
This is something most collabs lack on.That is one of the major things that needs to change to make a collab succeed.
You need to have active (or semi-active) members.
You need to have some sort of chain of command. You need to have organization. You can't rely on one person to organize the whole collab.
Think of it… You have one person at the ‘top’, so if the CEO is offline for a while, the collab gets nothing done.
That is the secret ‘weapon’, something that I have not seen in many or any Scratch collabs; but big companies have it.
It is kind of like the fire triangle; that is why most collabs burn out.
There is more then that though:
- We need to be able to communicate our ideas quicker then forum chat.

Yes, I like the idea of having a triangle of command, like the US's form of gov. We should have 3 leaders, who can vote against each other in decisions, but also make decisions when the other(s) fall inactive/are not there. No one should ever have sole power, that's why there should be the triangle of leaders. Even if one falls active, there are still 2 more their.

I think it should go as follows: (If everyone accepts).
Board of Directors:
k9lego - HarryB178 - st19_galla
President:
scratchhacker3000
If the President falls offline, the Directors can make decisions and/or change the president.
We should also have a term for each job below the board.
