What if there was a way, in a project to create folders and place sprites in them? You could drag and drop sprites into these folders, re-name the folders and move them around. In some projects which have hundreds of sprites, a lot doing the same thing, this would be useful because you could categorise different sprites and keep them in easy to find locations.
