taking things from the internet and posting them in projects
I think it is unfair to the rest of people who attempt to make original projects to allow users to just download some images, a .gif, or photographs from another website and just put them together in a project with the command “when space key pressed / switch to next costume”. Even if credit is given, it is not fair for someone to gain lots of attention, love its, etc while doing very little amounts of work. My hypothesis is that people are doing this just to get a quick and easy pass to fame. it would be better to discourage these types of thing.

my point is that people are just taking stuff from the web in order to get attention. it's unfair to those who legitimately work on things. if credit is given, it is technically legal by the rules of scratch, but it seems pointless to allow that on the front page because it's not an original work, you can just go and see it anywhere on the web - in other words, it isn't a true “scratch” creation. And your point is ?

it's really irrelevant if the suggestion is broad or notThat's a pretty broad suggestion…True…my point is that people are just taking stuff from the web in order to get attention. it's unfair to those who legitimately work on things. if credit is given, it is technically legal by the rules of scratch, but it seems pointless to allow that on the front page because it's not an original work, you can just go and see it anywhere on the web - in other words, it isn't a true “scratch” creation.
