TOO MUCH FNAF!

There was an old topic I believe opened by a scratcher which the Scratch Team allowed for discussion of the FNaF issue, it has been concluded that it is NOT breaking the community guidelines, and is perfectly fine. So sorry, but your post goes against the sticky.

Well, I think the Scratch team should add higher security to Scratch projects/studios, and make everyone think twice about posting!

What kind of security? People are supposed to think twice before they post…

Technically, it doesn't; he hasn't suggested the banning of FNAF yet.

How do you suggest we add the security? What kind of security? And how are we going to get everyone to think twice about posting?

He's literally implying that smaller children use Scratch and see this stuff so it should be prevented.

According to the ST, FNAF stuff is approved or removed on a case-by-case basis.

As per above, nothing has to be changed about the way the ST deals with FNAF. If your suggesting what i think your suggesting (limiting FNAF projects because of what the source material is) then no. Otherwise megaman projects should be limited because X4 has communism themes and a somewhat explicit massacre scene.

And Mario is the most psychotic character ever, just watch Game Theory's episode on it… It's scary

Unless you're under the age of 16… GT isn't exactly what I would call a “family friendly” channel.

What exactly are you suggesting? If you were suggesting to ban FNAF, then that has been rejected. If you want higher sercuity for younger children, it already is quite high and projects such as FNAF that don't follow the guidelines get removed.

Back on topic? Besides, that's not what I meant.

15. Banning FNAF/horror projects

We're not going to ban all FNAF projects out of hand because we think it is possible to make a project about it without going against the Community Guidelines. We will, of course, continue to moderate the site and hope that if you find *any* projects that you think are inappropriate for Scratch, you will click on the report button and let the moderators know.

But step back a bit and evaluate what you are looking at before deciding. Is it really too scary? Or is it just scary because somebody told you that everything FNAF-related is super scary? Try to be objective.

Anyway, FNAF is perfectly fine as long as you don't gross up the jumpscares or put details of the backstory (which is very dark and gory).

These days, why do people complain about FNAF more? Other horror games don't get too much reputation.

On the other hand, Game Theory is pretty cool… They talk about game physics and logic.

I'd say logic is predominante.

Back to topic? Or should we request for closure?
