1 August 2013 Updates
Happy August!
Much of the team was away for a lot of the week so not a lot of changes.
Visible
The paint editor has a new font (Donegal) - for your more formal printing needs! There may be one or two more additional fonts later, but not right away. Every additional font adds on to the size of the file that must be downloaded to the browser when the project runs - so we have to be really careful not to let that get too large.
Behind the Scenes
More work on the off-line version of the project editor and player
Beginning work on a statistics page to show graphs of site activity (projects, comments, users, etc.)

Darn, I Thought I Might Be The One To Get First Post.
Here's An Update You Didn't Mention.
If You Press (+) On A List, The New Item Appears At The Bottom, Not The Top.
I'm Mad To Not Get That First POST!

No - we elected to go with internal fonts for Scratch 2.0. There were issues with local fonts - what looked good on one computer would end up looking not good at all on another computer that didn't have that font. 8th post.
So you can't use local fonts then?
You can still work with other fonts - but you would have to import them as either vector or bitmap images and hand assemble them into words - pretty tedious, but maybe worthwhile for somebody with a real pressing need for a specialized font.
