Hello everyone!

Recently, I was wondering why there was cloud variables but not cloud lists. After playing a bit with the cloud data, I realized that I could create custom blocks that would read some data from a cloud variable and print it in a local list, effectively simulating a “cloud list”. I decided to challenge myself at building such a device.
I started by designing my own protocol for transferring a data structure like a list, in a variable. I called it the “Scratchlist Protocol”, and you can see how it works by pressing space while my project runs. After that, it was only a matter of parsing and voilà, cloud lists for anything you want. All-time scores, accounts for your Scratch OS, anything.

By design, cloud variables can't handle letters yet, but it is possible to bypass this limitation using associative tables. I may do an update that will allow the users to input not only numbers but also letters.
