Recreating the Semicolon Glitch!

Many users miss the beloved Semicolon Glitch, so I made a way to bring it back temporarily:

  • Right-click somewhere and press “Inspect Element.”
  • Press the button that says “Console.” If you cannot see the word “Console,” it might be replaced with an icon like > or >_ .
  • Copy and paste this code and press Enter (in some cases there will be a green arrow that you have to press):
    $('body').append(';');

  • Scroll down and enjoy the semicolon! Note: this might not work in the project editor.

Thanks to NickyNouse, here is a user script:
// ==UserScript==
// @name         ;
// @version      1.0
// @description recreate the semicolon glitch
// @author       NickyNouse
// @match        http://scratch.mit.edu/*
// @match        https://scratch.mit.edu/*
// @grant        none
// ==/UserScript==
if(location.href.indexOf('messages') == -1) {
    $('body').append(';');
}

This needs to be a userscript so I can run it automatically.

Season 4 has officially released I'll go make a better signature soon

I suspect this topic was necroposted, and the necroposts were, by now, already deleted. I mean, it already happened a few times to a few other topics.. Makes sense to me.

Often when that happens you can see on the front page the author of the last post shown on the front page differs from the author of the last visible post.
It happens when someone necroposts/spams and moderators have to delete it.

Yes you should have! It doesn't display the semicolon on https://scratch.mit.edu/users/messages
