It's really bad.

Let's say that you made a project. Then, someone commented on your project, saying “Look at my project! (spam link)” The comment with the spam link does not say anything about your project, it's just like advertising. This is called, Commercial Spam. It can be annoying, as, if you were trying to get more views and then, a spammer advertised his/her project, it could just attract others to the spammer's project and not yours.

Now, let's say that someone commented on your project. This was what he/she wrote:

So, what the spammer wrote above was just numbers and… well… nonsense. I'm pretty sure that no one wants nonsense comments on their project.

In all cases, spam should be reported as inappropriate to the Scratch Team.

Hello! Normally, I would not bring this matter up in the forums, but I have now been on the website for three months and am becoming concerned. I have not yet been promoted to the title of Scratcher, but I have tried to be as active as possible on the site. I comment constantly on others projects, studios, and profiles, read and post on the forums regularly, and have shared a well-loved project. I plan on sharing another project within the next few days, but I would very much like to be promoted beforehand. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you!

I think you need three projects.
Check on your profile for a link that allows you to become a Scratcher.

Yes. New Scratchers can only post links to things in Scratch. Scratchers can post links to- non scratch sites.
