How do I remix own project

I know that there's a save as copy button but I mean that just saves it as another project and it doesn't show up as a remix so how do I do it?

You might be able to do it if the project has a 1.4 file available (you download the 1.4 file and remix it using Scratch 1.4), but if there is no 1.4 file available, then you're kind of stuck making only a copy of the project.
