I think that your profile is like your main page, so I think instead of the folder with “my stuff” at the top, there should also be one with a “P” that takes you to your profile instead of clicking on your username.

that's sensible but not absolutely necessary I think.

Or make the profile picture in the top bar not part of thing that opens the dropdown, but a link to your profile.

On the subject, doesn't it seem kinda redundant having two My Stuff links? One in the dropdown, and one right next to the drop down.

I was thinking more along eliminating the drop-down part and instead having “settings” somewhere on the profile page, like where the profile pic and username are.

Me too, I don't like the dropdown.

I suppose having the signout in the drop down is ok, because it's less likely for you to click it accidentally.

Agreed. I like the dropdown, but I feel like Account Settings should also be accessible from your profile, as mentioned before, and the picture next to your username should be linked directly to your profile instead of making the dropdown appear. The text of your username in the top bar should have the dropdown.

Sure, but I don't think it's too often that you need to change your email or password…
