You mean using the video blocks? The video stays within your computer. You could be highly cynical and say that until they release the source code we can't tell if anything malicious is in the code, but I'd say you're privacy is safe. MIT's reputation should guarantee that. Besides imagine how much data they'd have to receive and store, all of people waving and sticking their tongues out at a computer screen!
