right mouse click

In more modern times, we need to be more concerned whether or not right click is detectable in HTML (because of Scratch 3.0), which it does, so support. Also, mobile devices could use two fingers for right click, similar to how many touch pads work.

when this signature read :: events hat
if <I know what [kumquats] are :: sensing> then //false
have (Katty :: pen) [eat v] [nearby kumquats v] :: motion // Katty eats the kumquats for me, whatever they are
else
learn what [kumquats] are :: sensing // this block must be malfunctional
end

Umm, how do you use blocks to detect right clicks on Scratch 4.0+?
I want to create a Windows 9, but it won't work.
Can Scratch update for block changes like this?
when [right mouse v] key pressed
when [left mouse v] key pressed
<key [right mouse v] pressed?>
<key [left mouse v] pressed?>
I don't mind the originals, just to keep it simple, but at least add something like that, or this.
when this sprite [right v] clicked
when this sprite [left v] clicked
<mouse [right v] down>
<mouse [left v] down>

1. Please don't say “duplicate” without a link to the other topic, it helps no one.
2. As it's been stated, yes Flash can in fact detect Right Clicks, and I have no clue who spread this rumor
3. As it's been stated, Scratch 3.0 won't use Flash, and instead use HTML5 (it's at the least HTML), which is what all sorts of browsers use today, so Right Click does work in HTML.
4. Support, yet I doubt that the ST is adding, or fixing many things, because of Scratch 3.0, so I hope they add it, but probably won't worry about it for the next few years or so…

<right mouse down? :: sensing>

A lot of people seem to think this isn't possible, even though Scratch is perfectly capable of detecting right click in the editor.
Support, except maybe it can be more like this-
when this sprite [left v] clicked ::events hat
when this sprite [right v] clicked ::events hat

<[left v] mouse down? :: sensing>
<[right v] mouse down? ::sensing>

Support. This is much needed. Personally, I think the dropdown is nice.

when green flag clicked
forever
if <reaching (Computer :: stack #0000FF) :: pen> then
execute (hack.exe :: ring #00FF00) :: #FF0055
else
set hack mode to {
get (distance to (Computer :: stack #0000FF) :: ring custom) :: #FF00FF
} :: #00FF00
end
end

No support. Not all Mac users, and very few mobile users, have the ability to right click.

Hi, I’m Selix. Glad to see you here!
Please consider giving my projects a look!

Similarly, we would remove all the script editor because mobile users “find it difficult to work with” due to the small screen.

Yeah, I'd prefer the dropdown. Actually, I think left clicking should be the default option though since it's used more.

Hi, I'm ResExsention, that New Scratcher who refuses to promote themself! I really do look forward to getting to know you!

If you see "[DATA EXPUNGED]", you'll know it was deleted by me. It's a lot easier.

Scratch 3.0 has only been released due to Flash Player shutting down next year and Scratch 2.0 was running on it. 4.0 doesn't have a reason to come out and probably won't - the ST will just keep on updating 3.0. (maybe 4.0 will release but not anytime soon)

(I don't know what to say about this suggestion, sorry for not contributing to it)

That's for left click, this suggestion is talking about right click support.

The following is a custom message and it can sound very childish - please do not feel offended or sad because you are a professional and should be treated otherwise.

Hey! Great job on posting your opinion on this suggestion topic! But unfortunatly, you made a mistake. But everyone makes those, so no problem! ^^ But let's see what mistake you made. You see, when the Scratch team views a suggestion topic, it doesn't matter how many people said support, it matters on people's reasoning why they support. If there are fantastic reasons, then the Scratch Team might add the feature! But not doing so might result in the suggestion never being added.

To prevent this, you need to be a little constructive. What does that mean? It means you need to explain in a nice way why you support or don't support the suggestion. Always in a nice way. Because “HEY HEY HEY! BAD SUGGESTION! IT INVOLVES INAPPROPRIATE STUFF!” does have a reasoning but is a little weird. So no.

But hey, now you have learnt something new! Congratulations!

This could be interesting for built-in copy and paste features in projects, but instead of making two separate blocks, can't this be a dropdown?
