What is Go Everywhere
For those of you that can't remember, Go Everywhere is inspired by Scratch, to edit Scratch projects on mobile devices, via HTML5, and community made. Each supported device will have a specific stylesheet, making the interface more user-friendly. And for the devices that work, but are not specifically supported, a general stylesheet will be created, as temporary support for the device until we can get a stylesheet working.

Why should I care? The Scratch Team is already working (or is going to work) on Scratch 2.0 in HTML5.
Correct. However, there are several advantages. Since this is the community's version of Scratch, we can edit however we please. If we see a feature that we want, or don't like, we don't have to wait for official support. We can edit it, and use Go Everywhere until support is added. We can add blocks, user-interface design, and add advanced editing options. Our projects can also be transformed into native apps for Android, Steam, and iOS (however, with each platform, you have to commit the money yourself to submit apps). Whatever you want to do with your project is okay with us!

Awesome! How can I help??
Thanks for the offer! We can use the extra help. Before, we all had certain jobs, and were committed to getting them done. Some of us left, and some of us didn't finish our jobs. However, looking around, I noticed that this was not the best option for a community. There is no commitment, just do it when you feel like it. So, this is how it is going to work. You must have a Github account, as we will be using Github. Fork out repository at https://github.com/GoEverywhere/Go-Everywhere If somebody already has submitted a pull request that you wanted to work on, by all means, work on it! If yours is more compatible, or is better, smarter code, we will more likely use it!

Can I test it out?
Of course! We are still in development, and certain crucial features are missing. However, you can still try out the GE on your PC by following these directions: http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/314220/ (it might be difficult for beginners to test GE right now, just a heads up). If you would like to test it out on your mobile device, please remember that certain restrictions are placed due to unimplemented features. It takes a little more work to get it working on your mobile device, but here are some instructions: http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/314639/

And, above all, post ideas, create design mockups, concepts, frameworks to use, and anything else that will be helpful. Thank you!

1) Somebody to host the website
2) Somebody that can develop a script to extract the Master branch onto the server (in PHP, most likely, as most web servers don't let you code in anything else for free )
3) Somebody to design a logo
4) Somebody to design a banner (for forum signatures)

I could work on item 1, I also know someone who might be able work on item 3 or 4.

would something like Go-Everywhere.webs.com work?

Okay! I can't find the old logos, so that is why we need new ones. And I am trying to find the one person that got number 2 working, I don't remember who it was. Do you know how to design a website style?

Sort of

Webs only lets certain HTML, text and links stuff into mostly already made designs. I could try to move stuff around with what tools I get with that though.

Sorry, but Webs will not work. And that is because we need to run PHP scripts to copy the version of the site from Github, and extract it on the server. We need an actual web host, like 000Webhost, or something like that.

While 000webhost is a semi-decent (I say this clenching my teeth) host for being free, with what you are aiming to so you are much better off going with a paid host. I may be able to help you here.

I know. It is just usually, with community projects, most do not want to pay money right off the bat. However, if you are willing to let us use a paid server, that would be extremely helpful. Do you already have a paid server, or something (is that why? Because paid servers can get pretty expensive after a while).

My dad pays for my extra - curricular activities on the pc. I can get
You one within one/two weeks, hopefully.

And yes, the money for it will be coming out of my pocket haha.

Yes! I remember you a little. It had been a while. I will put you on Github again, once my computer charges. I removed everybody, to do some cleaning. Were you the one that made the PHP script that extracts the Git repo, or was it the other guy? I can't seem to remember.

Well, as long as it is alright. We also need a MySQL database, so look for that, too.

EDIT: And as a temporary, we will use a free host to design the site and get the PHP scripts working.

Actually, do you have a Google account? Google+ Hangout's might work a little better, since there are more collaborative options in it. Just personal opinion, you can use what you wish. (I also would like to keep my Skype contact list to people I know, but I can create a different one if you don't have Google+ Hangouts).
