How to create an AWESOME (useless) block

Oh my gosh. You can make awesome-looking useless blocks! it's easy!

1. Create a .txt file
2. Write:
{
“extensionName”: “pick a name”,
“extensionPort”: 12345,
"blockSpecs: [

]
}
3.Save the file
3.5. Rename it name.json
4. Create A Scratch Project
5.Shift-Click File
6. Click Import Experimental Extension
7. Locate the file
8.Go to more blocks and be amazed

Yea, I asked the scratch team on what in the world that was, but they haven't got back to me.

It's an experimental extension. nXIII has a thread about it somewhere around in this subforum.

I do, in fact, have my own site; it's here.
I'm also working on a thing called Fetch. Look at it here!

Thanks for posting. I was at school and the internet is really slow, so I didn't want to go through the slow process of waiting for pages to load

How to create an AWESOME (useless) block

I'm not sure if you can do it anymore.

1. The current Scratch version is 3.0. I once tried it on Scratch 2.0 Offline Editor, but it says “Import Experimental HTTP Extension” rather than “Import Experimental Extension.” I'm not sure if it's the same.

2. I tried doing the steps way above the Discussion, and when I got to More Blocks, I didn't see anything.

Thanks.

My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 91.0.4472.164, No Flash version detected
