Nice game! I wasn't expecting too much because of the bitmap-ness of it all, but it blew me away!

Compliments/Complaints: Good job. The idea is a bit used up, we've gotten at least 2 Simon games on this review shop so far. However, I really liked your sounds. The graphics were okay, but they could have been better. I'll give some suggestions in the Suggestions section. The coding was nice/no glitches, I liked how the game was random, so no two players would have the same experience playing the game. Lastly, I wasn't sure what the extra 4 dots on the bottom half were, but then I realized they were the reflection. Still not sure why that was there, but it didn't really take away from the whole game.

Suggestions: So, about the graphics, your main problem were the words (e.g. 3-2-1-Go!!!, GAME OVER, Start, etc). A good way to solve this problem but have exclusive fonts is to find Scratchers like @-fontify- and @FontGod. These Scratchers, and many more, create fonts for other Scratchers to use! If you want to have different fonts than the regular default ones, these Scratchers have vector fonts which are very cool. You can use these for your fonts instead of pictures, and it will look a lot cleaner! I would suggest taking out the reflection of the dots. I understand that you were maybe trying to make them look 3D, but it didn't really work. If you want 3-D objects, I would suggest using 4 ball sprites from the Scratch library, and recolor them to be one color or a gradient of color so it looks 3-D. If you don't understand, comment and I'll explain further.

Rate: In the future, please do not request to get a 5+, because we are trying to help you grow, and just giving a score won't help. But I'll rate this 6/10. Good job!
thats a good rating i will do what you tell me and will that mean i will get a 10/10
I will be having better games coming out a big adventure game is coming it is called reach to the skies 2 after it is a sequel to an old project of mine which is not very good which I am sure you will rate 3/10, I think that because:
1.the project has bad graphics
2.it has some okay levels but some levels are bad and are so rubbish looking
3.well everything is bad
I would also say i would of got 1/10

But when reach to the skies 2 comes out it will look better than the last. It will have great improvements to it and I will then have a better chance at getting 10/10 or 9/10 or 8/10. When reach to the skies 2 comes out I will tell you to look at it.
The time I have chosen for it to come out is in 2017

PSA: Sorry for the inconvenience, everyone, but as I am the only head reviewer at the moment, and @s-swrichter controls this forum, I will be creating a new review shop. Same rules, review types, applications, everything (in fact, I'm going to copy and paste the first post into a new one), but now I can edit it and update it without asking @s-swrichter, who's not on Scratch a lot. Thank you! No more reviews will be done on this forum, so if you could please re-post all of your projects onto the new forum. It will be titled the same title for right now, and will be up and running in the next 30 minutes (around 10:15 Eastern US time.) Thanks all for the support that's keeping our small review shop running, and sorry again for the inconvenience!

How interested are you?: I love reviewing things in my past time, just to apply my optimism or criticism to many a different thing. It would be awesome for me to be accepted in this!
How committed are you?: I review stuff all the time, and so I'm pretty committed
How active are you?: I come onto Scratch A LOT. And I mean, almost everyday.
Example of a review you would do (Link too please):

EXAMPLE: Journey to Hope https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/92417161/

Great platformer. The starting of the game threw me into the story. The fact that all the colors were taken away immediately made me, a very colorful (sometimes) person, want to save the colors. It was a nice hook, or beginning point, that I imagine lures people in nicely.

Controls: 8/10
A default platformer control scheme; use arrow keys to move left and right, up to jump. The thing that made me take stars away was that when you stop moving, there is a slight buildup, that leavs you sliding across the floor after letting go for a second or so.
You can also after hitting into a wall, wall jump or bounce.

Story: 9/10
All of the colors have been taken away. You, player, are the only colored thing left in the world. A green square. As I said, this was a nice hook for the game. Every couple levels you complete, you bring back different shades of color. All these shades of color then show you
For example: After bringing back red, you can see the dangerous parts. After bringing yellow back, you can see bouncy parts. And it works for each color. This also gave me a bit of a light hearted feeling for the slow easy-going feeling.

Graphics: 10/10

I always like cartoonish graphics, and this had plenty. It has nice color schemes, and tying into the story, it all starts out with a calm, black and white scheme, but soon as you collect different colors, illustrates much more beautiful and alive landscapes.

Sound: 9/10
A calming piano track with different ambient noises in the background. Though it is a loop, it still sounds good. It soon delivers a beat of what sounds like drums and shakers, and adds in what seems to be a guitar. No matter what, it is a good track for the game.

Replay Value: 1/10
Honestly, no matter how awesome it is, it still has nothing to replay for.

Extras: Employs creative level design ideas. Such as the level, “words” in which the words are different colors (“Green was tired and lonely. He wanted to give up”) and you have to jump on the text due to them still affecting you in the same way.
It also has a beautiful moral. Listen to this!
This game represents how we should ALWAYS keep on going to try to reach our dreams or give people hope. Even during the tough times, even though it's hard for us to, we should persevere. I made different patterns for the background representing the complexity of our feelings sometimes. Sometimes our feelings match the difficulties we are going through. You're not alone if you feel like your feelings are so complicated that you can't survive. Also, the difficulty of the levels represent the obstacles in real life. If one time seems super hard for you, just keep trying. One day you will pass the level, or rather the challenge in life. It's going to be okay.

General: 8/10
A calming game that made me smile, but also I had to keep playing to bring back the colors. Amazing masterpiece, -frostyiceprincess- .

Tell me if I'm accepted
