Servers - ping and stuff

Given a thought I had, here's the question.

In what way could you manager a server, or multiple servers, in which you can have multiple countries with a similar, low ping so that a chat system wouldn't lag behind others based on where they are located.

Yeah, I feel my question is weird. Q.Q

Wait, what?
That is not possible, as far as I know.

^ That's what I thought.
I was wondering if there were any theoretical ways in which it would be possible Q.Q

One way I could think is having clients connect via geocast such that the ping to the closest node is super fast, then having the servers themselves being on super fast connections so they can route messages between each others faster than the client could connecting to the far node directly.

^That sounds like a lot of effort to set up ;_;

Thanks for the input!

This.

However I'm not sure exactly what the question is asking. Do you want all clients to get messages at the same time, or all clients to get messages as fast as possible?

I'm going to cry in a hole now.

Too much effort for I.
