Go to a project click “See Inside” go to file at the top, and click download to computer.
My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.8.5, Chrome 29.0.1547.76, Flash 11.8 (release 800)

You can download games as a .json file, in the way said above.
However, you can't actually play the game offline, you can just re-upload the file to scratch.
At least, until there is a downloadable version of scratch 2.0.

You can download it as 1.4? What if it has blocks such as clone?

You can't download 2.0 projects to 1.4, but if someone uploads a 1.4 project to the website, then you can download it into 1.4. You can download it as 1.4? What if it has blocks such as clone?

I don't see any download code button on my projects when I click on ‘Share to’. Or if the project is in 1.4 format…
Click on “Share To” on the project page, then click the “Download code” button under Download 1.4 Project.
Is there a way to get my projects that I made with 1.4 downloaded to my computer and able to be edited in scratch 1.4?
