Inserting Screenshots

I'm having problems with inserting screenshots into my scratch programs. does anyone know the extension i need to insert a screenshot for a backdrop or background?

I'm not sure what you mean by extension but you can use Jing which is free to get a screenshot, save it and import it as a background.
