All but one member of the caravan is dead in one of my games. I feel kind of sad seeing a single Khajiit sitting alone in a huge camp meant for four. It's like he's not aware that his companions are gone.
No, I didn't kill them. I don't know what happened to them.
uh huh sure Lightning, you didnt kill them….

Most likely a dragon maybe vampires if you have the Dawn guard add-on. I doubt it would be wolves they usually beat those. Maybe even a giant or something. Even wizards could be the culprits. I have no idea what it was but the dragon seems most likely.

avid Skyrim player here. got the Legendary Edition and already finished the game once (as in completed every major quest and emptied out my minor quest to-do list (the non-repeating ones)).

I'm now aspiring to be a alchemist-archmage Nord with maxed out crafting skills (smithing, enchanting, alchemy). I'm currently level 51 with 260 Magicka, 270 Health, and 270 Stamina (going to balance them out), and have 120,000+ gold (60ish speech skill, +3 haggling and +allure). I've scrapped by so far without using scrolls, consuming potions (except restore health/magicka), improving weapons/armor (like smithing/enchanting), and I haven't started any major quests other than the main one and some daedric quests. Basically all I'm doing now is hoarding stuff to no end.

But I do have one objective in mind that will justify my archtype. Going for alchemy is a major investment in the future because there is an awesome exploit that I am preparing myself to use. I'm also planning to max out my enchanting skill so I can get the perk that allows two enchantments to one item. As I've said before, I've been the game once and that was before I used the exploit (I discovered it way before and it crashed my game so I stopped doing that).

So yeah, Skyrim is the best. Also, I really hate when vampires kill that one vendor you were going to sell stuff to

I've accidentally killed people before that might have been what happened but if it was you the one that's left would attack you everytime.

Doing time in jail or paying it off will remove your bounty. If it's too high in any particular hold then leave that hold for about two or three in-game days and go back the guards will attempt an arrest but at least then you can get out of it. If you've completed the Thieves Guild Quest for that hold then you can pay only half and not have stolen things taken from you.

This thread hasn't seen much activity lately but I have some news. Firstly I started a new character, Quanlo, my master illusionist and destruction expert High elf. And I just cooked and ate a real life Potage Le Magnifique! Here's the recipe It was really good and I think I'm going to try the Sunlight Souffle' next. Don't forget to add that secret ingredient.

I'm mostly playing Oblivion when I play TES games ATM, I'm otherwise playing Guild Wars 2 which also has Jeremy Soule as a composer! I've started to do Dragonborn, as I stopped playing when I got Oblv., and I left off just a bit underlevelled for Solthsteim.

I don't think it's that hard to get a bounty off, how high was it and how often do you visit the hold that you have the bounty in?

I'm a Khajiiti warrior-thief-assassin-thing and I joined the Stormcloaks. The problem is, I often like to RP as my characters. That is cool, but I've decided that my character hates being called a cat… so he's killed alot of guards and I'm working on pickpocket so I can steal all of Galmar's inventory. >:3

Yeah. But it's possible to be on both sides. I have a High Elf and a Stormcloak. But come to think of my High Elf hates the Thalmor just as much as any nord.

I tried that one day and I got pretty rich. Most of the people were either skooma dealers or those jerks that attack you for no reason. Also I ended up killing that traveling bard when he randomly attacked me for no reason. Somehow I had always thought he'd be a lot tougher.
