Sine Wave +more as Play Note instruments
Since the Scratch instrument specification doesn't conform to the standard MIDI instrument specification anymore, it would be nice to add basic sound waves (Sine Wave, Sawtooth Wave, and Triangle Wave) as new instruments for the play note block. This could open up more sound synthesis possibilities on Scratch, so I suggest you add these! There's already a Square Wave, so why not?

Yes please.
Also, Square wave, Triangle wave, Noise wave, and Sawtooth wave?
My dreams of recreating a 2a03 in Scratch will never come true

Erm… no support. When will this be useful?

Erm… no support. When will this be useful?Just because I will have no use for it, no one else should ever, right?
This is a very basic add-on, (just 3 more wavetypes) why would there be no reason to support?
Also this would be my dream come true because as a chiptune enthusiast, those wavetypes are the core fundimentals of 8 bit music and I would really like to make a decent tracker/player for chiptunes in scratch

Yes and also it might let you make a simple synthesizer in Scratch, so more projects could be made!
