I'd support for a entire “What's happening?” page, where you can see all the things the people that you follow have done. I'd also suggest it filtering out things you've already seen, because it's quite annoying to see the same studio invite/like about 5 times in the “What's happening?” box, but not see something interesting that has been uploaded.
