What malware, tracker, and other protectors do you have. I have Norton, McAfee, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Chameleon, Adblock Plus, HTTPS Everywhere, Disconnect, and NoScript. I really don't want to get a virus

Wow, lol, that's a lot. What malware, tracker, and other protectors do you have. I have Norton, McAfee, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Chameleon, Adblock Plus, HTTPS Everywhere, Disconnect, and NoScript. I really don't want to get a virus.

I have Norton scan, Malwarebytes scan / Anti-rootkit, McAfee (my active security), Adblock Plus, and NoScript.

My favourite would probably be NoScript. Although I'm not sure if I can honestly say that it's not just because of the epic logo. xD
Exploit kits shall die!!! >ːP

I spent $110 on Malwarebytes because our computer got adware last year back when I wasn't 1337.

Ouch. That's a lot of money for a bit of adware. I spent $110 on Malwarebytes because our computer got adware last year back when I wasn't 1337.

Although I'd have to admit Malwarebytes is a pretty great program, probably worth the extra dough.

The adware kept redirecting us to Wizard 101 and kept showing ads with swear words.Ouch. That's a lot of money for a bit of adware. I spent $110 on Malwarebytes because our computer got adware last year back when I wasn't 1337.Ccleaner does the same thing (cleans adware) and I think it's free.

Everything's up to date on mine, but I can't be bothered to list them all / I'm worried if some hacker knows my systems, s/he'll know “where the guards are around the castle” (if you know what I mean :P)

Lol I remember when I got adware once I simply added the adware's host to a “blocked sites” list on IE. xD

When I was less 1337 (not that I'm actually l33t), I trust my Windows Defender 100% completely. I'm very ashamed of that noobish action (although, luckily, I didn't get anything bad yet)
I have Avast! and McAfee and a few other programs I didn't remember much. I just rely on the fact that I 1) searches the internet only sometimes 2) knows what I'm downloading and installing 3) visits only trusty websites 4) never clicks ads or rely on Google or other search engines. 5) patrols my files 7) Scan my computer with Windows Defender/Avast! regularly or when I'm bored
Also, for your very-many-security-softwares, make sure they don't “fight” with each other. That could happen.
Avast! once warns me that my McAfee web protection could be dangerous. I took a screenshot of the warning and labeled it “antivirushatesotherantivirus” and save it somewhere (and forgot where I put it)

Lol, I'm not sure about cwkgavin367, but I only have one *active* security, McAfee. Norton is just the free scanner, and I have the Malwarebytes scan / removal but nothing that is actively scanning my computer.

Btw even visiting safe sites you are still vulnerable to Drive-By-Downloads by malvertising, NoScript or Adblock Plus would be good options to install if you don't already have them.

I just realized that if i put malware bytes edited it so it wont be able to cancel and have it run forever and make it so it moves itself to the startup folder. Then it could be a virus.

Lol! I don't use anything yet. So far, I could remove quite a few viruses myself
