How do I make one?

(Assuming you want an AMV MAP like most MAPs on Scratch) well, you have to split up the song you want into short clips, then open the MAP for submissions and let people make animations for the clips they choose, they put all the clips together in one project.

By clips they mean parts of a song. For example, if I did Let it Go as a song for my MAP (not a recommended song btw) I would split it into parts. Say the first part is instrumental at the beginning. If someone wanted part 1, you would assign them the part and they would animate it. As soon as all the parts are done you put it together. This tutorial by helloyowuzzup is pretty helpful.

I thought a map was going to be a programming map

Uh, I didn't do that when I started my MAP. Should I make it so the last map broadcasts the command to the next part to start?

Whenever i try and make a MAP, the clips keep skipping. am i doing it wrong?

I'm not sure about the end.. How will we put it togetha?

I cant split it into clips. It makes the song go weird. Am I doing it wrong?

How do you split a song into clips and make the clips individual sounds for a MAP? I know how a MAP works, I just don't know how to seperate the song. I uploaded the song onto the sounds and I don't know how to get the clips out as a different sound…. Plz help me

The sound editor has a COPY button.
Select the part of the song you want to copy,
COPY it,
Click on “record a new sound”
paste the copy into the new sound

Keep doing that until you have broken the song down into clips.
