The vast majority of the site is either in elementary school or middle school. Most of these people don't have those kinds of social medias.

Also linking to that site may reveal personal information which is against a CG

ST doesn't allow linking to most other social media sites due to the possibility of bad people linking them to expose young children to stuff they shouldn't see and to prevent people from having their information leaked.

true, though i think something like “friends” would be better… (which iirc scratch may have had in like some super early version or something? idk i wasn't there for it maybe i just made it up in a dream or something who knows)

Well, it is true: you are following them, you are not “connecting” with them. You want to see their projects and what they are doing.

Also, why are you trying to make Scratch corporate? There are much better ways of preparing people for employment and the real world… none of which most people here should be concerned with at their age.
