support to the thing that is right up (the quote) and my message can be rainbowsBlue messages are associated with curatorship and promotion. (Positive)
Red messages are associated with reporting and disrespectful words in a comment. (Negative)
However, Alerts (usually warnings) are highlighted blue. Blue has a positive connotation, so it sends a mixed message.
Simply put, Alerts should be color coded to match the message it connotes with. Alerts about a warning issued should be in a red box, while other alerts like becoming front-page curator should be in a blue box.
Red for warnings from the ST, grey for messages from the ST, blue for comments, green for studio invites/activity, orange for forums. And as a bonus, yellow for front pages, features, loves, faves, etc.

Support. Also, what about purple (mix of blue and red) when it's a mixed message?

Color coded alerts
I agree about color coded alerts. It's so boring, just a plain blue alert. We should have color coded alerts. They should be sorted to what the alert is about. Here is my list idea:
Red: Being disrespectful
Orange: Say mean stuff about a project
Yellow: Not giving credits to the creator of a project you remixed
Green: Telling you phone number, email address, or tell your real name
Blue: Trick the community
Purple: Making a mean project
Pink: Spam
Aqua: gossip about someone
Turquoise: Something on your profile is innapropreate or your username or icon is innapropreate
Gray: An innapropreate studio
Black: (white words) Reporting a project and no problems
White: (with black border) Copying scripts from a different project without giving credits
Red: Being disrespectful
Orange: Say mean stuff about a project
Yellow: Not giving credits to the creator of a project you remixed
Green: Telling you phone number, email address, or tell your real name
Blue: Trick the community
Purple: Making a mean project
Pink: Spam
Aqua: gossip about someone
Turquoise: Something on your profile is innapropreate or your username or icon is innapropreate
Gray: An innapropreate studio

Red: Being disrespectfulThere's no reason to make it that complicated/specific.

Support! I think it could maybe more specific than
if <[red]=(color)> thenI like explaining with scratchblocks.
set [good, bad v] to [bad]
end
if <[blue]=(color)> then
set [good, bad v] to [good]
end

Plus, why do you need color coded alerts? (You can read, right?)

Hmm, support but maybe make it a pink instead of a red. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but red irritates my eyes.

Support for my ideas:
- Alerts about breaking the guidelines
- Alerts which are neutral messages from ST
- Alerts which signal curatorship

Support. This would be good news for people with dyslexia, but what about color-blind people?
New messages :: control
Front page/curator :: operators
First warning :: sound
Second warning :: sensing
Third warning :: variables
Fourth warning and up
Neutral alerts :: grey
