I have a solution for fonts in Scratch. It could come with a few preset fonts in the paint editor like Arial, Scratch, and Times, but there could also be an import button:

Font:
(Arial)
(Times)
(Scratch)
(Import…)

When you click on Import it would pop up a dialog where you can give it a .ttf file, and have it added to the font menu (only for your project.)

Another feature, that i'm not sure how it would work, though, is to put custom fonts in your Backpack.

This would be cool! Support, or have any more things to add?

Hello Scratch, you may have heard this enough already, but I am too lazy to sift through hundreds of discussions there are hundreds of requests, I have no time to go through them all.

Ok, so as you read in the subject, I want more fonts. We only have 6 right now; Helvetica, Mystery, Scratch, Marker, and 2 more. That's great and all, but for a free programming site, I think it needs some more. Some that I would like:

Techno (techno overload)
Oxygen
Futura

Of course, you do not have to add these exact ones, but I would appreciate it if there was more! Thank you Scratch Team!

I'd like it if just a couple of fonts are added. I'd prefer Sans Serif and Courier in the editor.

Support, but the problem is, not everyone could have the fonts installed on their computer's font libraries.

I don't even think scratch needs the font to be installed iirc. It's all done with the editor anyways, so I think it's a moot point.

I agree with most, but it seems like you just went online and found a list of fonts that pretentious typographers dislike and copy/pasted it.

Personally I don't like the Helvetica font; why is it the default one? Comic Sans is terrible though. Really the only good one out of all of them is Donegal, which I use 99.9% of the time.
