A Mary Sue is a charecter who has- you know what, i will just give you and example

The exact definition of a Mary Sue is hard to pin down, but this explains them pretty well.

If you are trying to make an anime character, having hair colors such as green, blue, purple, etc. are normal personality choices. However if you are trying to make it similar to real life, having those hair colors are more prone to be mary sue.

Okay so once my friend and I were bored so we decided to make a mary sue for fun… I should post it on scratch XD.

I have a MOTHER 3 FC which I haven't put much development into yet but I am trying to not make her a Mary Sue.

(Edit- Name, Looks, Series and Age are true parts of her development. The story is fake, though.)

Name: Tyrian Tellfany
Age: 13
Series: EarthBound
From: Tazmily Village
Has: Brown hair, green eyes and red cat cap

Story: Tyrian was a baby psychic in Tazmily that nobody likes except Lucas and Claus. She's considered a wuss by many and people tell her that by her wimpish personality, her and Lucas make the CUTEST couple. She knows every psychic move in existence and is able take out the entire Pigmask Army with one PSI Fire. She has a miserable life and her entire family tree hates her. Her life long pet, Viridian the dog, died and she fights The Pigmask Commander each day to avenge her. She ends up marrying Lucas when she's older but only after dating Claus and Fuel for a while. SHE'S SECRETLY A PRINCESS!!!11!

it's easy to find mary sues in pretty much any online work. why bother writing this story/series if everyone knows generic character x will win anyway?

So I remember in like, sixth grade i made an OC who was known as Lia Evans. She sounds normal considering her name isn't Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way, but honestly, Lia was edgy for the sake of being edgy, she was in an automatic love interest, had special fire powers, was kicked out of school for being better than everyone, and had no parents whatsoever. She was also part angel, part neko, and part cyborg, along with being part human. I found the manuscript it was in, and she defeated all the anatagonists easily…. perhaps I'll post it on Wattpad bc it's so pathetic, and form a troll author persona.
