I'm trying to create a FNAF game; I made a door sprite. But every time I test the door, It shows up in just about every place EXCEPT where I want it.
I would also like some help on the “ animatronics ” AI levels, what they do it the door is closed, ect.

You could duplicate your 1st office backdrop and you could do the things you need to the office.

you could first make the caricters then the grafics then the office then a map and soo on

You could put certain behaviours like: set Freddy to Show Stage and after 0.1 secs Freddy to Dining Room then wait 0.11111 secs then Freddy is on East Hall then wait 0.7 secs then Freddy right near door then wait 0.11 secs then Freddy in office.

My game is still in development and will be out anywhere from April to May.

Animatronic at door help is what I will give you:

for the door, here is what I did:
I created a broadcast when the door button is clicked, and then it will effect the door variable by 1. once the button is clicked again it will go to 2. The door sprite is detecting if the door variable is at 2, then it will go back to being open.
Suppose doorvariable=1
The AI would broadcast a jumpscare
When an animatronic recieves it, if the door equals 0 (which means it is wide open) it will do a jumpscare. If you want some jumpscare testers, go to this project and add them to your backback! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/54791268/

Make a door variable & (and) a door button.
When you press the door button, the door will close. It will also affect the variable.
The AI will detect if the door is closed or not, and, depending on the variable, it will or won't protect you.

You Can Make A Costume Of It and then add a costume of it and then move it where you want it to be on the maker of the costumes
