“Mama Said”, “Unforgiven III”, “Fade to Black”, “To Live is to Die” (a tribute to their late bassist, the middle section is absolutely GORGEOUS) are all really sad Metallica songs

'39 is the happiest sad song you'll ever hear, Somebody to Love, Prophet's Song, are all really good and kinda sad Queen songs as well

I find “Hide and Seek” to be a depressing albeit excellent song, with a haunting and ambiguously dark tone. I recommend it. As for films, I find The Sixth Sense to be a very sad movie. Also, A Good Day To Die Hard, but that's mostly because it tarnished a franchise. (:

I don't really cry during sad things, but a sad film (that tears your heart apart) is Freak the Mighty. It's also a book, we did a unit on it in Language Arts. ;v;

All songs that I find sad are called ballads. Ballads ARE sad songs.

Do books count? If not, my favourite book The Outsiders is also a very sad movie.

We all know that they are sad like the song How Long will I Love You by Ellie Goulding as well as the film Frozen (2013). Have you seen or heard any sad songs or sad films that make you cry? (e.g Watership Down, Frozen (2013), Rio, Spirit, I will Always Love You, Heal the World, How Long will I Love You, All Around the World (Nelly) BUT, it must be either a sad film OR a sad song.

Thanks!

No one said Toy Story 3? Are you guys serious?

Also, the Book Thief is a movie too, and when I read the book, I almost starting crying in class, even though the story spells out in front of you what's going to happen.
