questions about the online detector block
hmm since the love amount reporter block was rejected for being abusiveThat is an entirely different thing because this would force you to disconnect wifi and lan cable and then play, not force you to like or fave or remix or something. The project creator gets nothing out of it but MAYBE this would be useful for example in a quiz game so you can't google to cheat the answers.

questions about the online detector block
The Online block is not rejected. The reason why it was added is because people made online detectors using the Translate extension, but that gives expensive server costs, so it was added to reduce costs.

questions about the online detector block
It is not an inherent problem with the <online ?> block. People could already do something similar with the (username) block, which is even more problematic because while you can connect/disconnect from the internet, you cannot change your username.
if <(length of (username)) = [3]> then
say [congratulations, you are one of the few users with 3-lettered usernames]
...
else
stop [all v]
end
