Time for some camp bonding! What's a spider's favorite event? A webbing! For today's daily, tell some jokes in the main cabin. Share some of the funniest one-liners you know, or a classic! It can be original, or a twist on one we've all heard before. Be creative, and be yourself- they can be cheesy or extremely clever, but if there's one thing about jokes, they always manage to bring people together. <3

Weekly #1: different ways to cause chaos
Written by Lyra
Hello everyone! Welcome to the very first weekly of SCC! We're going to explore the different ways to cause chaos and have fun. Are you ready? Let's start!
So chaos can start spontaneously, but sometimes, you can also start somrthing because you're bored and don't have anything to do… Or just want arson ;D So what if you try to create some this week?
This weekly starts on February 2nd at midnight PST. You can find a few timezone conversions in the description of the SCC main cabin.
Part 1: getting inspired
Have you ever seen SWChaos? Or just chaos in a chatroom, studio, or project comments? Even irl chaos? For the first part, we're going to write about what you remember. How did it start? What happened after? Write 200 words telling the story.
Part 2: finding an idea
Sometimes, chaos starts with an idea. A simple comment saying “We should totally do a road trip!” or “Who wants to join the Skog cult?” can start a studio-wide event, or become an inside joke. So for this part, write at least 10 ways you could start some chaos. It doesn't have to be spontaneous, it doesn't have to be serious, you can never as silly as you want.
Part 3: actually causing the chaos!
Now, pick one or more of the ideas and start some chaos! You don't have to do it in the SCC main cabin. You can choose any main cabin or studio, as long as it is active. If you're trying to speed run this weekly, I'd suggest trying with the SWC main cabin or a famous chatroom.
Part 4: looking back
Wait a few hours… What happened? Did you start chaos? (It's ok if you didn't! Chaos is mostly spontaneous.) Did anyone agree with you? Disagree? Join you? Write at least 150 words about what happened, and the people involved. If nothing happened, you can try another idea, don't worry!
Outro
Amazing job! You can almost claim the 1000 points for your cabin now. Just made sure you have:
Written at least 200 words explaining a chaotic event
Written at least 10 possible ways to start chaos
Attempted to start chaos somewhere, and…
Written at least 150 words about it!
Great! Now, go take a break from screens or cause more chaos ✨
This weekly ends on February 8th at 23:59 PST! Make sure to submit it before then, or else it won't count <3

For this daily, you're going to be writing a scene with your persona! To start off, comment a description about yourself or your persona. Then choose some other personas and spin your own story with it! Let your imagination run wild- just make sure to be respectful in what you create. Write 200 words to claim 300 points for your cabin. Good luck!

Hey everyone! Are you up for a challenge? Welcome to Chaos Dares! For this daily, comment 2 or 3 simple dares in the main cabin. They can be about writing x words or designing with a prompt, or a more chaotic dare, like using some random words, writing x words of three words stories with someone… Even things you do irl, like touching grass. Now, go and complete a few! Every dare you complete gives your cabin 50 points. (The max. is 200, so 4 dares, and make sure to comment them so we can add the points!) Have fun!

Are you bored? If so, go and check out the new Games and Activities project, where you'll find… Games and activities, of course. But you will also earn points for your cabin and maybe get some motivation to work (oh wow) so you should totally try them! Have fun! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1273644250/

Statistics are sometimes boring- but nothing can ever be boring in a chaos camp! For this daily, create surveys and post them in the main cabin. You can reply to other people's surveys but the max. number of surveys you can create is 4 (300 points)! Each survey you make gives your cabin 75 points- let the random-information-collecting begin!

Welcome to one of the most chaotic and fun dailies: cabin wars! Today, you're going to fight and save your precious points and tell at other people to sleep. But you might also get betrayed by friends and get bonked with a frying pan! Please read this project https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1276459843/ for more info, because SCC cabin wars are a bit different from other cabin wars. Good luck!

For this daily, we're going to look at yesterday: the fateful day of cabin wars. Reflect on the day's chaos, then write 300 words to claim 500 points of a news article showcasing the details of what went down. If you weren't present for cabin wars, then feel free to cook up some bizarre events- it's your choice! Have fun!

Come on, come all, to this daily! Today, we'll be making some posters. To claim 400 points for your cabin, design poster advertising a unique part of SWChaos- it can be about whatever you want. Calling everyone to another mascot cookout, or a poster on the amazingness of our icon Gurtle! Be as wacky as you want, and have fun!

Weekly #2: creating a cult
Written by Lyra
Introduction
Hey everyone! Welcome to the second weekly of the session! This week, we're going to learn to create a cult!
Cults are usually studios where members can chat, find other members, and sometimes complete activities. There are many kinds of cults: some of them are teams in a competition, like the mascot wars (SWC Nov. ‘25). Others work like unofficial cabins, with storyline, leaders, etc. Others are just studios with a theme where people cause chaos and have fun, like the cannibalism cult (which was, unfortunately, taken down by the ST). If you haven’t created any, you might be a bit confused, and this is why we made this weekly. Are you ready to start?
Note: you don't have to actually create the studio, invite people, etc. but you can if you want!
This weekly starts on February 9th at midnight PST. You can find a few timezone conversions in the description of the SCC main cabin.
Part 1: finding an idea
First of all: what will your cult be about? Are you going to convince everyone that one of the mascots is better than the rest? Is it an arson cult? A defenestration cult? Or something different? For this first part of the weekly, write 10 ides you think would be fun to create. They ca be anything: SWCers have created blahaj cults, bandwagon cults, frying pan armies, cannibalism cults… It can be as silly or as serious as you want.
Part 2: picking an idea
Feel free to create as many cults as you want, but for this weekly, please pick one of them! After deciding, write at least 200 words describing your idea and, if you want, explaining why you picked it. What will the members do? Are there any activities? Matching profile pictures? Keep in mind that this doesn't have to be real, you don't have to actually create the cult, draw pictures or make the activities if you don't want to.
Part 3: studio description
Now, let's write the description. Will you add a storyline introduction? Requirements? Leader introductions? For this part, write a studio description for your cult. There is no word minimum, just make sure to include: a short intro (it can be a part of the storyline or just a “welcome to the studio” message), an explanation or context (what does your cult do?), activities (optional, it can be QOTDs, storyline updates, etc.) and short credits. Feel free to add more sections, aesthetics symbols, or anything you might want to include.
Part 4: the thumbnail
A cult with the default new studio thumbnail looks really boring! If you want people to join, you need a thumbnail. So now, make a thumbnail for your cult! You can draw it, design it on Pixlr or Canva, or pick another site! It doesn't have to be really amazing or aesthetic, by the way.
Note: the maximum studio thumbnail dimension is 500 x 325 pixels. If you want to make the real studio, I recommend using this size.
Outro
You did it! You've made it to the end of this weekly. I hope you had a lot of fun creating your cult. Now, I hope you have…
Written at least 10 ideas for your cult
Written at least 200 words describing your cult
Created a studio description and…
Designed a thumbnail for it.
If so, congratulations! Now, go and claim the 1500 points for your cabin.
This weekly ends on February 15, at 23:59 p.m. PST.
