Around two weeks ago, dinoparty0 and I were being attacked by these trolls, both with similar usernames. The trolls assumed their ethnicity (this was in my chatroom) so I reported the comments and closed my chatroom for a few days. The trolls went to say some heinous things and then went quiet.

Two weeks later, aka Superbowl LX day, I got a notice from Scratch's filter that my chatroom had been taken down. The reason was because “it was attacking another scratcher.” How? It's a chatroom? I opened a new one later that day and a few of my followers said hi. But then, the trolls, under different aliases, appeared again. They said, and I quote,

u want to play with me, boy? (bypassed cuss words) [yes, they also assumed my gender even though I haven't publicly released mine]

I deleted the new chatroom and opened my old one back up, removing a few elements that may have caused the takedown. Scratch allowed me to reshare the project, so I think I'm in the clear.

My question is, how do I get rid of them besides reporting. These trolls need a range IP ban.

That's weird that a chatroom got taken down by something you didn't do. But as explained above, please use the Contact Us button.

Honestly? I wish there was more we could do about it. But for now, until we get any new updates to the site, the only thing we can really do is report and use https://scratch.mit.edu/contact-us/ .

The main thing you can do is to report them and contact ST
