Yo, does anybody know the best mining method in Minecraft? I typically just strip mine but that sucks for a lot of reasons so I wanted to try something else. Thanks!

there is no best method to mining and it matters what your trying to get! if you want to get all the ores than you want to mine to level 10-0 but i like ten the best! then if you are wanting diamond then you would want to mine down to level -59 it is the most likely place to find diamond! do you have any other questions?

Coal= layer 96 (if you go to a mountain then it would be layer 140 for the best amount

Iron= layer 16 (just like coal if you go to a mountain then it would be 232 for maximum amount, also anything above 160 is great)

Gold= layer -16 but you would get WAYYY MORE in a the badlands above layer 32

Lapis= layer 0 but in order to not mine deepslate then go to layer 8

Diamonds= layer -59 for the best amount but there is more in caves and under lava pools

Redstone= layer -59 (the exact same strat for diamonds) but keep in mind that redstone drops way more then other ores

Emerald= layer 152 in mountains but i just recommend looking around the mountain because they always are exposed

Copper= layer 24 but if you are REALLY desperate then just get some from a trial chamber (please don't do that)
