Scratch to mp4/AVI/3GP... etc

Hi,

I'm new to programming and obviously to SCRATCH. I'm just wondering whether we can save scratch project to mp4/3gp extensions or any other video extensions. I'm currently creating a simple animation (short video) and I want to share it to my friend. However, I'm sure he can't open a .sb2 file since he doesn't have a Scratch installed on his PC.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Too complicated, maybe just a GIF.

Thanks for the response IronBit. For GIF format, is there already a way to do that?

One way is to just record your animation with something like OBS, then crop it in post (OBS might even let you crop while recording, but idk)

mp4 is a adiuo file, and he can just download Scratch 2.0 offline editor, im not sure what a 3pg file is.

No, what if someone decides to convert a game into a video file?

No support as per this.

Just being able to convert it wouldn't work if the project is interactive in any way. I would support a built-in recorder but not as a very high priority.

What if you wanted to make a project a gif so you could make it your image? Rather than going through the process of uploading every little image?

if (Scratch) = Epic thenforeverbroadcast Use Scratch

A 3GP file is a video file like MP4
No, the MP4 is a Video and Audio file, and the MP3 is only audio.
3GP is similar to MP4, but only for mobile users.

You can record a Scratch project and then download the recording.
