A: According to a page explaining the the site that explains Scratch's plans to people interested in working for Scratch as a senior back-end engineer, interested in a development of Scratch 4.0 will begin to be prioritized in 2025. However, no actual release date was given. Note that this wasn't an official announcement. Things may be subject to change, and 4.0 may not happen for a while (or ever).

As of this post, the page that explained that 4.0 will be prioritized soon is not allowed to be linked on Scratch due to it sharing a contact form. However, it is an official Scratch Foundation website.

*People wondering why it says WIndows NT 10.0, saying stuff like “but I'm on Windows 11, not 10” or “You're still on Windows NT?” (thinking that Windows NT was last used for NT 4.0 or sth like that since it was the last to actually have NT outside of internal name)
*People wondering why Windows 7/8/8.1 users are on Chrome 109.0.0.0 because the user agent says NT 10.0 for them
*People not realizing that “Request Desktop Site” on iOS/iPadOS makes the OS appear as MacOS
*People wondering why their Chromium based browser shows up as Chrome (also, I feel like it should be updated to detect Edge because I feel like I've heard people state that the user agent says Edge at the end)

I also saw someone reporting this for Edge (at least, that's what it seemed like). It just simply uses the slider from your browser (which I feel like could be useful to mention if someone swapped browsers and noticed this)

Edge is retextured chrome, so yeah.
