Web Browsers/Custom Internet in Scratch?
I had this strange idea a few months ago where you could be able to browse the web in Scratch, but not using sites like Google. You could make your own websites using strings of text which would be encoded into numbers to send across the web. You could cache as many sites as you wanted, however, you'd have to “dial in” to users to gain the newer version of the website. I'm pretty sure I tried making it, but it never got past around 20 of the phrases and a basic GUI. There were ideas to download files from one device to the other, but I don't think they would've gotten any further than small .txt files using the same phrases. It's really interesting to think about, so what do you think? Do you think that this could be possible?

okay what? Scratch isn't designed to do that or be an website host like google or any other site like that! It's an site for kids to basically just code. Are you okay; 'cause what is that idea?

If there is an, albeit proof of concept, PlayStation emulator on Scratch, then we might be able to get temporary, locally-hosted, user-specific websites.
